Description
We only sell fresh seeds from our own plants!
This particular variety of L. williamsii is from the Big Bend National Park in southern Texas. As of 2019, there are no longer any left in the wild.
Some consider it the hardiest of the Lophophora varieties as it can tolerate extremely high temperatures as well as down to between -10 to -15C for short periods of time. These extremely tough plants will also grow more slowly at first than other varieties.
Flowers are normally pink and white and are followed by small edible pink fruits. This species is generally considered self-sterile.
Peyote requires hot and humid conditions to germinate. Please see our how to grow page for instructions.
